leaf

I am just a leaf
that falls from a tree in autumn
leaf that falls to the ground
to merge into the soil
where I am absorbed by a flowering plant
and one day I will turn into a blooming flower
I will bloom in autumn
but I am just a flower
I too will fall one day
to merge into the soil
where I will be absorbed by a tree
to turn into a leaf..
where my endless wait for autumn starts...
and I am yet to find what I enjoy the most
the fall or the bloom
